This development requires exposure outside the classroom, which is provided through the recognition of the importance of internship experiences, which consequently shape the careers of its students as well. The principal body entrusted with the responsibility of managing and conducting the Internship Process in the college is the student-driven Placement Cell.
From the commencement of the initial year in college to the time a student passes out, the Placement Cell is responsible for assisting and providing internships to students. Working while the student is learning helps to discover their areas of interest, finally through the placement cell that all arrangements of students with their prospective employers are engineered, be it Internship, PPO or Campus Recruitment. The placement cell invites reputed law firms for campus interview and recruitment. Having successfully completed the recruitments for the last batches, it has been resolved that the recruitment process for the current batch of Symbiosis Law School,Pune will be on a rolling basis.
The main aim of internships is to provide a smooth transition from the academic world to the real work environment. An increasing number of law schools require the completion of an internship as a prerequisite to graduation.
