Date for SLAT (Computer-Based Test): The SLAT will be conducted for the academic year 2026-2027 on December 20, 2025 (Saturday) and December 28, 2025 (Sunday)
Please note: A candidate can appear for SLAT on both dates December 20, 2025 (Saturday) and December 28, 2025 (Sunday) ) by selecting both the dates in the Application Form. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization.
It is mandatory to Register & Pay to both SLAT & SLS Pune. A candidate registered for SLAT and not registered for SLS, Pune, by paying the above-mentioned fees, will not be eligible for the next phase of the PI process at SLS, Pune.
Candidate must complete the SLS, Pune payment Rs. 1000/- per program (i.e., B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B. Com. LL.B. (Hons.)) while filling the SLAT registration form
Candidate must pay Rs. 2250/- as a SLAT Registration Fees

The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).

Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of a passing certificate at the time of the final admission.



The total intake is 420 seats [inclusive of 180 seats of BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 120 seats of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)] and 120 seats of B. Com. LL.B.(Hons.) .

Separate Merit Lists for BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) , B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B. Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programme will be prepared and published. At the time of SLAT registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply. A candidate is free to choose BOTH or ANY ONE programme.
The candidates are free to choose their choice of programme selection depending on their ability, interest and opportunity. Please note that these two programmes differ only in the First-Degree contents (either Humanities OR Business Administration), whereas the law courses offered in both the programmes are the same.
Graduates in both streams are eligible for diverse legal careers and opportunities in Corporate, Litigation, Civil Services, Advocacy, Judiciary, Academics, jobs in International Organizations, International Admissions and others.
Both SLAT and SLS, Pune Payments can be made using Credit Card / Debit Card /Net Banking / RTGS / NEFT/ Online Banking provided on the SLAT Registration Form.

SLAT will be conducted through CBT Mode for 60 marks (which will be scaled up to 70 marks).
After declaring the SLAT result, SLS Pune will publish the list of shortlisted candidates eligible for the Online PI (Personal Interaction) process
Please Note: The name of the candidate will appear in the list of shortlisted candidates for PI only if he/she has registered and paid (program wise fee @Rs.1000/- for each program) to SLS, Pune, while filling the SLAT registration form.

The structure of the SLAT includes 60 questions for one mark each covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge.
The total duration of the SLAT test is 60 minutes.
Personal Interaction is intended to test the Personal Attributes,
inclination towards law as a career,
overall personality and
communication skills, extracurricular and co-curricular activities,
and elementary knowledge of the law of a candidate.
PI (Personal Interaction) - 30 Marks Online PI of shortlisted candidates will be conducted online by a panel of experts from Industry / Academia.
Declaration of Merit Lists: Based on the 70 % weightage of scores for SLAT and 30% for PI, the Merit lists will be declared on our website, www.symlaw.ac.in

Uploading documents for PI: Shortlisted candidates must upload scanned copies of their original documents (STRICTLY IN PDF Format ONLY) as specified in the intimation for PI, e.g., 12th Std. Mark Sheet, Provisional Passing Certificate from School/College, Caste / Category Certificate for SC/ST/KM/DA and Children/wards of Defense Personnel, photo identity proof - Aadhar Card / License / PAN Card/Passport, Certificates of Curricular, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities.
Slot booking: The candidate needs to book a slot for PI at SLS, Pune. The slot booking link for shortlisted candidates will be available on our website, www.symlaw.ac.in. If the candidate does not book a slot within the stipulated date & time, a forceful allotment will be done. Note: If a candidate selects a Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in the Registration form and s/he requires scribe/writer facility please note SIU will not be providing scribe/writer. The candidate has to make her/his own arrangement for scribe/writer. The qualification of scribe/writer should be a maximum 9th standard candidate or a maximum 9th standard passed candidate (Or Appearing 10th Standard). The scribe should not have completed studies beyond the 9th standard. Candidate should send the request to info@slat-test.org , on or before November 30,2025 (Sunday) in case scribe/writer is required.
As per SIU norms, a Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is provided with 20 minutes of compensatory time for every 60 minutes of test.

Admission to all the courses and programmes at Symbiosis International University (SIU) are strictly on merit basis based on the criteria and processes prescribed by the University and assessment of individual performance in Symbiosis National Aptitude Test [SNAP] for Postgraduate Studies and Symbiosis Entrance Test [SET] for Undergraduate Studies.
All aspirants / parents are hereby notified that some individuals / organisations are giving / making false and misleading advertisements / claims in newspapers, websites, social media platforms that they can ensure admission to Symbiosis International University and also charging heavy amount for the same.
In this regard, SIU requests the aspirants / parents to refrain from entering into any transaction with such elements. SIU has not appointed any individual / agency / organisation to make such assurance on its behalf. It is a matter of Policy that SIU does not charge capitation fee for admission from students and this is widely and prominently published as well on all the relevant places like prospectus, website, SNAP Booklet, SET Booklet etc.
Despite this Notice, if any aspirant / parents still proceeds with or enters into transaction with such elements, they would be doing so at their own risk and cost. SIU further notifies that any aspirant attempting to approach SIU for admission through or at the instances of such agents will be permanently debarred from admission to all the courses and programmes at Symbiosis International University.
