Dress Code Notice


It has been observed that students are interpreting the Uniform Code of Conduct in the way they like. Please note that it is mandatory for every student to be in proper/complete uniform, once he/she is in the college campus irrespective of the lecture timings.

Please make a note of the following.

  • Students are not permitted to wear visible body adornments, including earrings, and display body piercing or tattoos. Lady students may wear only necklaces, finger rings, and ear and nose adornments. Wearing heavy ornaments and / or jewellery on campus is discouraged. Make up should be sober and unobtrusive. Translucent dresses are forbidden. Dress should be comfortable and sufficiently loose to facilitate work without physical restraint. Lady student should wear tops with sleeves which should be minimum of 4" of length and the top should be at least 7" below the waist.

  • Wearing the uniform shall be compulsory as specified by the Institute.
    1st Year: White Shirt, Brown Trouser, (Maroon Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women)
    2nd Year: White Shirt, Brown Trouser, (Black Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women)
    3rd Year: White Shirt, Black Trouser, (Brown Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women)
    4th Year: White Shirt, Black Trouser, (Navy Blue Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women)
    5th Year: White Shirt, Black Trouser, (Grey Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women)
    LL.M. One Year: White Shirt, Black Trouser, (Blue/Grey Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women )
    Three Year LL.B. : White Shirt, Black Trouser, (Blue/Grey Tie for men) (White Kurti, Black Salwar and White Dupatta for women )
  • Men students must wear black polished shoes and ladies may wear black polished shoes or black sandals. (Ladies may please insure that the shoes/sandles cover the foot completely) Please note that Flipons/Slippers/Floaters ate strictly prohibited. Students are expected to be in Blazers on Special Occasions

  • Men students must be well groomed, i.e., not to wear long hair, and can either be bearded, moustached or clean-shaven.

Non-compliance will be treated as 'Disciplinary misconduct' under Code of Conduct and will attract penalties, punishment including forfeiture of attendance as prescribed.
