Mr. Atmaram Shelke has been working in Symbiosis Law School, Pune since 2006. He has obtained his Ph.D. from Symbiosis International University under the guidance of Dr. Shashikala Gurpur, Dean SIU and Director, SLS, Pune. He has obtained B.A., B.G.L. and LL.B. form BAMU, Aurangabad and LL.M. degree from the Symbiosis International University, Pune. He is recipient of Two Gold Medals for standing first in LL.M. in Symbiosis International University, Pune. Besides, he has few Diplomas to his credit such as Diploma in Crop Science (Amravati), Diploma of Library Asst., (Library Director, Mah. State), Advance Diploma in Copyrights and Related Rights (WIPO), General Course on Intellectual Property (WIPO) and Certificate Course on History of European Integration (SLS, Pune). 

He taught various subjects including Legal Research & Methods, International Law, Cyber Law, Administrative Law, Practical Training Papers, Drafting, Pleading & Conveyancing courses to the undergraduate students, Law of Crimes, National Security, Public Order & Rule of Law and Comparative Criminal Procedure, Criminology & Penology and Copyright Law & Practices to postgraduate students.
He visited Ostfalia University Brunswick, Germany as a visiting professor under the DAAD ‘New Passage to India Prgramme’  in 2014.

He is currently working as a member of Legal Aid Cell and In- charge of Human Rights Cell, Admission Committee, SLS, Pune, Vth Year BA. & BB.A. LL.B. and member of Editor Board of All India Law Teachers' Congress, new Delhi. He worked as a member of  CLRN Project (conducted by SLS -CUNY School of Law), Symbiosis Student Law Review Journal and Research Committee at SLS, Pune.  He has also assisted in organizing various programmes of the institute.

He has worked on prestigious projects like, Adv. Ram Jethmalani Research Project on 'Handbook on IPC', Nani A. Palkhiwala Book Review Project and other projects at SLS, Pune. He is also guiding LL.M. students on their dissertations. He has published several articles in National and International Journals.

He has participated in two UGC Sponsored Refresher Course and several National and International Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs. He has presented several papers in National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops as a resource person.
