Curricula development on Climate Change Policy and Law

Name of the Project- “Curricula development on Climate Change Policy and Law” CCP_Law Reference number-618874-EPP-1-2020-1-VN-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP)

Funding Agency - Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union

Objectives

  • The main purpose of the project is to create a competence and multi-disciplinary blended curricula on Climate Change Policy and Law, customized to the needs of India, Vietnam and Malaysia.
  • The educational programme on Climate Change Policy and Law will be offered at a level of Postgraduate diploma (PGDip) or alternatively as an LL.M depending on each Partner HEI final decision. 

Role of Symbiosis Law School, Pune in the Project

  • SLS, P as leaders in Work Package 1 and Work Package 4 will be responsible for identifying similar curricula in the subject area from their countries and the wider region in order to identify the gaps and better assess the exact academic needs that have to be catered for by the CCP_L educational program. Later it will ascertain that the program will not cover existing curricula and be truly innovative. 
  • SLS P will be piloting the curricula and establish a climate change center

The welcome meeting was held on 12th December 2020 and the Kick off meeting was held on 23rd and 24th of March 2021.
