1. Faculty Enrichment Programme

Conceived the idea of Faculty Enrichment Programme as SLSP hosts a number of international scholars under the Scholar-in Residence Programme, visiting international faculty, Fulbright scholars etc. SLSP thus facilitates inflow of scholars from across the globe that enriches the academic teaching and learning environment of the institute.

However, so far, this phenomenon was only one sided with few exceptions where-in some faculty members have received the opportunity of having international experience of teaching and learning under the DAAD Exchange Programme, ICCR Chair and by way of participating in international conferences.

Outcome: Under this programme Dr. Rupal Rautdesai, visited Chou University, Japan from the 12th to the 19th of Dec 30th 2015.

She undertook lectures, participated in Seminars and will be publishing a Joint article with a faculty member from Chou University, Japan.

Due to the good relations established with a number of other reputed foreign Universities, many more of the partner Universities have agreed to host faculty members from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and in the coming years many faculty members shall be receiving opportunities to have international exposure under this programme.

2. Study Trip

After the visit of Dr. Clemens Arzt from Berlin School of Economics and Law whom we hosted for a period of 3 months , along with Dr. Clemens Arzt I made a Joint application to DAAD for a grant of a Study Trip to BSEL.

The proposal contained a detailed schedule of academic workshops, visits to legal institutions as well as other curricular activities.

Outcome: Prof. Swapnil Bangali was nominated to lead the cohort of 14 students from the 30th of May to the 12th of June 2015.

3. Daad New Passage To India Programme

Symbiosis Law School, Pune along with Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences is the recipient of the DAAD New Passage To India grant. This programme has been facilitating student and faculty exchange.

Dr. Surya Rashmi Rawat Associate Professor, SLS, Pune was nominated to visit Brunswick European Law School of Ostfalia University from 1st to the 8th of November 2015 wherein she delivered lectures as well as participated in Seminars.

Prof. Shirish Kulkarni has been nominated for the above programme and will be visiting Ostfalia from the 23rd May to 2nd June 2016.
