B.B.A.LL.B 2009-2014
Course Structure for the B.B.A., LL.B Batch 2009-14
1 Objective B.B.A. LL.B :The use of word ‘multi’ is indeed multiplying in today’s world, multi-nationals, multi-tasking, multi- dimensional, and why not multi-disciplinary’. The sweeping changes in the global economic scenario have necessitated a strong demand for a breed of youngsters with the potential knowledge of law coupled with the core essentials of management and business to enhance productivity. With the object of catering to this demand unfolding before the students, and to enable them to explore these vistas of opportunities that lie ahead, we have commenced an integrated Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degree programme (BBA LLB). Here we impart exhaustive knowledge to the students not only to survive but also to excel in the increasingly competitive world.
2 Duration Five years ( Full Time )
3 Intake BBA. LL.B : 150 Seats
4 Reservation of Seats A. Within the Sanctioned intake:
  1. SC 15%,ST 7.5%
  2. Management Seats 15 %
  3. Physically Handicapped 3%
  4. Serving/Retired Defence Personnel and their Children: 5 %
B. Over and above the Sanctioned intake:
  1. Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per course
  2. International Students- 15%
5 Eligibility 10+2 or equivalent examination, passed with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST), candidates who have appeared for Standard 12th exams may also apply.
6 Selection Procedure Symbiosis Entrance Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

11 Examination & Method Of Assessment The CGPA method of assessment is followed. In addition to the ongoing internal assessments and examination will be conducted at the end of each semester. Each course will consist of 100 marks which will be divided as under:
Internal – 20 Marks        External – 80 Marks 
Internal and external heads of passing shall be separate head of passing.
12 Standard Of Passing A student has to pass both internal & external exam separately. The grade F in individual head (internal & external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of degree if he/she obtains minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 10th semester.
13 Award Of Degree The degree will be awarded at the end of 10th semester by taking into consideration the performance of all the ten semester examinations.
